Our wellies took us to church!

Lesson: History

Class: Lower Key Stage 2: 'The Hedgehogs' Year: 2013 - 2014

Following inspiration from the book "Where my wellies take me" we decided to go to the church and explore the grounds like Pippa did in the story.

We looked at the gravestones and made connections between people's names and names we had previously discovered when looking at old maps of Worleston and land owners at http://maps.cheshire.gov.uk/tithemaps/

We also enjoyed sketching the church and identifying living things in the grounds.
